<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an explicit route designating method and a packet repeater, with capable of attaining the granularity of functions for mapping of a label switching architecture on an ATM network for providing multi protocol label swtiching(MPLS) and the device architecture of an ATM-Switch base and designation of various routes (Constraint base Routing) provided by MPLS. SOLUTION: The packet repeater is provided with a logic route comprising means logically divided into plural parts so as to respectively have a label switching function and a means for designating the port or port group of an exit node when setting the path of label switching according to explicit route designation.</p> |
