PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a permanent current superconducting magnet device which can maintain an extremely stabilized magnetic field continuously while a magnetic field at a center of the magnet is scarcely affected by fluctuation of an external magnetic field when the external magnetic field is fluctuated. SOLUTION: This device 1 is provided with a first cylindrical superconducting coil 3 which is connected with a power source 2 for excitation and generates a main magnetic field, a first permanent current switch 5 which short-circuits the coil 3 and constitutes a first closed circuit 4, a second cylindrical superconducting coil 6 which is concentrically arranged with the first superconducting coil 3 being electrically independent of the coil 3, and a second permanent current switch 8 which short-circuits the coil 6 and constitutes a second closed circuit 7. As a result, a magnetic field at a center of the magnet is scarcely affected by fluctuation of an external magnetic field when the external magnetic field is fluctuated, and an extremely stabilized magnetic field can be maintained continuously. |
