The system has several electronic endoscopes (30,50), a memory storing at least one recorded image, an image display device (25) for images from endoscopes, an image memory processor that stores at least one received image as a recorded image and a comparison display processor that performs image signal processing so that a real time image from one endoscope and the stored image are displayed on screen in a comparative manner.
