PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fetch the document updating data which are separately supplied a document that is stored in an unrewritable medium such as a CD-ROM and a DVD and to composite display a document. SOLUTION: A tag is added to a document 402 stored in an unrewritable medium 401 to specify a document range and an index 403 of the document 402 is produced. The range of a changed document is designated to produce and provide a document updating file 401. A viewer inputs a document updating index A03 and produces an updating mode document range index 504 based on the index 403 and the index A03. On the basis of the index 504, a read document management table is reproduced into an updating mode read document management table. Then the viewer shows an updated document on a display by referring to an address (pointer) that is stored in the reproduced read document management table. |
