<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable telephone having a data processing function with facilitated operability and high operation efficiency. SOLUTION: While using a display panel and operating keys for a telephone function provided on a first panel 107 for a data processing function as well, another second panel 108 is equipped with a display panel and a key group dedicated to the data processing function and the first panel 107 and the second panel 108 can be mutually rotated almost at 360 deg. through a rotating mechanism 106. When the operating plane of the device is not to be used, the operating plane is made inside and closed by folding the first panel 107 and the second panel 108 and in the case of using the operating plane of the first panel 101 as a portable telephone, the first panel 107 and the second panel 108 are folded while being overlapped so that the operating plane of the first panel 107 can become the front side. In the case of using the telephone as a data processor, the first panel 107 and the second panel 108 are spread and all the display panels and the key group are to be used.</p> |
