PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that a conventional portable phone set in a continuous reception mode conducts only reception of information and communication state of the portable phone cannot be confirmed by a base station because the portable phone transmits no signal to the base station and the power consumption cannot be reduced when transmitting the signal to the base station. SOLUTION: The portable phone is configured such that a transmission level corresponding to quality of a communication channel is set from received information, a transmission interval is controlled so as to reduce the power consumption required for the transmission. |
