<p>An ink jet recording device, comprising an ink recovery unit for receiving ink drops when a flushing drive signal is sent to a recording head, disposed on a moving route for the recording head, the ink recovery unit further comprising a unit box formed in a cabinet shape and an exhaust fan, and the unit box further comprising a receiving opening part allowing ink drops, delivered by flushing operation from a nozzle opening of the recording head, to pass, wherein the exhaust fan is disposed in the air flow path or at the end part of the air flow path of the unit box, whereby ink mist produced at the time of flushing can be collected effectively.</p> |
