PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Web page reading system, with which a Web page inside an intranet can be read without changing setting of a firewall even when the firewall, which refuses the transfer of an HTTP exists on a network route. SOLUTION: An HTTP request sent from a WWW client server 1 is converted from the HTTP to an SMTP by a first repeating server 2, transmitted through a network 3 to a second repeating server 4, converted from the SMTP to the HTTP by the second repeating server 4 and transmitted to a WWW server 5 as an HTTP request. An HTTP answer transmitted from the WWW server 5 is converted to the SMTP by the second repeating server 4, transmitted through the network 3 to the first repeating server 2, converted from the SMTP to the HTTP by the first repeating server 2 and transmitted to the WWW client 1 as an HTTP answer.
