PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To identify an operator's seat without the provision for a changeover key for each seat and to allow the operator to make operations without caring about its own seat position. SOLUTION: Infrared ray emitting element LSR and RSR are provided respectively to the left and right of a front of an operation panel of a car audio unit, a light receiving section RR is provided in the middle of the light emitting elements, each light emitting element emits an infrared ray including a code to identify the left and right in front, either of the infrared rays reflected in a hand of the operator that makes operations is received, the code included in the light receiving signal is referred to, from which of the left and the right light emitting element the infrared ray comes is discriminated and the operator's seat is identified on the basis of the discrimination result. |
