PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform toner replenishment control in which vibration is eliminated for each color by setting the reference value of a pulse width for counting a printing number for each color by taking a printing number measuring device, whose circuit scale is reduced and whose cost is reduced, and the different stuck amount of the toner of each color into consideration by constituting the printing number measuring device used for the judgement condition of processing control as a circuit constitution simplified so as to secure the minimum measuring accuracy. SOLUTION: In the printing number measuring device to measure the printing number of the picture signal of a pulse width modulating system, a tap number is counted by the timing of both edges of sample clock signal wave which is at least equal to or more than twice of a dot clock obtained by setting one picture element as one dot, and the effective image of the picture signal of the pulse width modulating system is measured, and a value obtained by dividing by the coefficient of (sample clock/dot clock) is set as the printing number. |
