Apparatus (2) for alternately interposing wefts on a warp weaving crochet galloon machine comprises first and second parallel weft inserting guides (9:15) horizontally extending above needles (5) at right angles to needle movement, each slidably carrying weft insert slider (10:16) arranged to engage at least one weft yarn (12:18) where horizontal and vertical movement means (13:14) transmits reciprocating movement along respective guides, acting to operate them with mutually offset periodic reciprocating motion at a frequency, with respect to movement frequency of the needles being a fraction having a denominator value of twice the overall number of weft insertion guides. |
