PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for relieving overload of base station by which an overload of base stations acting like an active set in a cell phone system can be relived during soft hand-over of a mobile terminal. SOLUTION: The method of this invention is a method to relieve an overload of base stations and includes a series of consecutive steps where beginning with reduction in a decibel size of a hand-over window, exclusion of base stations, one base station at a time, a mobile terminal not in working with soft hand-over is not excluded, and a base station having the strongest reception power acting like the active set is excluded in the case that at least two base stations acting like the active set are overloaded. |
