Trioctahedral phyllosilicates 2:1 and their method of preparation

Crystallised trioctahedral phyllosilicates 2:1 of a stevensite or kerolite type containing fluorine, fluorinated in synthesis in an acid medium in the presence of hydrofluoric acid and/or another source of fluoride anions. The invention also relates to a method of preparation to obtain said phyllosilicates and their use in converting or cracking hydrocarbons. The phyllosilicates contain cations which may be introduced by ion exchange after synthesis.
