PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sale a printer inexpensively for a client requiring only a printer function and to sort a sheet automatically when a facsimile machine is fixed to a printer. SOLUTION: A facsimile machine being fixed removably to a printer A having a print section 1 and a sheet discharge section 9 for feeding a sheet C to a sheet discharge tray 4 is provided with a tray 11 for receiving a sheet printed at the print section 1 upon receiving a facsimile, and a body 24 for switching the carrying passage of a sheet from the sheet discharge section 9 to the sheet discharge tray 4 between the sheet discharge tray 4 and the receiving tray 11 so that a computer receiving sheet and a facsimile receiving sheet can be sorted automatically.
