PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for decomposing a thermosetting resin for recovering metallic parts from a molded product using the thermosetting resin, capable of recovering the metallic parts from the molded product in a good efficiency by decreasing the temperature for the decomposition and also increasing the decomposition rate. SOLUTION: This method for decomposing the thermosetting resin in a good efficiency at a low temperature is to heat an aqueous solution containing an organic amine and perform the decomposition treatment of the thermosetting resin in the heated aqueous solution.
