PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating a rubber-plastic molded product having a composite structure and capable of recovering the reusable low or middle molecular compounds without separating each of the rubber and plastic materials. SOLUTION: This method for decomposition-treating a composite rubber and plastic molded product equipped with a coating consisting of a second rubber and plastic different from a first rubber and plastic at the outer circumference of a molded material consisting of the first rubber and plastic product is provided by selectively decomposition-treating the coating consisting of the second rubber and plastic by bringing it in contact with a supercritical water or a sub-supercritical water and then decomposing the molded material consisting of the first rubber and plastic by bringing it in contact with the supercritical water or the sub-supercritical water.
