<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inflator device structured to be easily and positively fitted to an air bag module, easily manufactured and improved in reliability when actuated. SOLUTION: This inflator device is constituted by accommodating a gas generating substance for expanding an air bag, and an actuating assembly for actuating the gas generating substance to generate an actuating gas, inside an axially long cylindrical inflator housing, and providing the axial end part of the inflator housing with a diffuser assembly of bottomed cylinder shape with a plurality of outlet holes in the peripheral wall. A through hole is formed in the bottom face of the diffuser assembly, and a stud bolt for fixing the inflator device is fitted into the through hole. The stud bolt is fixed at a flange part provided at its end part.</p> |
