<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device which is used for removing insolubles from a used frying oil and irradiating the frying oil with minus electrostatic electrons to reduce the oxidation value of the frying oil in the same extent as that of a new frying oil, and can thereby endlessly recycle the used frying oil having been subjected to a disposal treatment as a defective oil, while the frying oil is fouled for each employment for frying foods, simultaneously oxidized and deteriorated, and therefore subjected to the disposal treatment, because the oxidation value of the frying oil is enhanced to deteriorate the tastes of the fried foods. SOLUTION: This device for reducing the oxidation value of the frying oil, comprising a new oil tank, a reducing tank, a filtration tank and a minus electrostatic electron generator as a group. A new oil for replenishment is stored in the new oil tank, and a used, oxidized and deteriorated oil is filtered and then stored in the reducing tank. The used frying oil is irradiated with minus electrostatic electrons from the minus electrostatic electron generator at a high voltage of 8,000 volt to reduce the oxidation value.</p> |
