PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure stable combustion and exhaust performance by producing moderate mixture in a cylinder injection engine. SOLUTION: This fuel feeding device heats fuel fed to an engine 7 by the exhaust heat of the engine 7 and a heater 11, and shortens an interval between injection timing and ignition timing according to a rise of fuel temperature. Therefore, ignition is conducted before dense easily ignited mixture is diffused, which can stabilize combustion. When the fuel temperature is high, vaporizing of the fuel is promoted, and the fuel adhered to a cylinder wall surface is decreased, so that the amount of discharging HC can be reduced.
