PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support device of a leak oil recovery device for a hydraulic elevator excellent in safety and work efficiency. SOLUTION: Plural fitting holes 28 are formed in a cover 14 fixed to a side wall 2B of a hoistway 2, a recovery tank 13 having tapped holes 29 matching the fitting holes 28 is provided below the cover 14, bolts screw-engaged with the plural fitting holes 28 are removed, two long bars 20, 20A inserted in the fitting holes 28 and screw-engaged with the tapped holes 29 are arranged, and regulating members 22, 22A abutting on a control box 15 of the cover 14 are provided to regulate the lowering distance of the recovery tank 13.
