PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressor which can accomplish a high performance, by reducing the pressure loss and the like resulting from a clearance between an inlet guide blade and the other parts in the inlet flow passage of the compressor. SOLUTION: While a spherical surface 14a is formed at a part of a spherical surface having the center at the point O on the extension line of the rotation shaft center line of an impeller 2, on the inner peripheral surface of a casing 14 at the part opposing to the end face at the casing 14 side of an inlet guide blade 1, the end face at the casing 14 side of the inlet guide blade 1 opposing to the spherical surface 14a is made to make the clearance between both members, by the spherical surface 14a of the casing 14, and a circular arc part at the casing side end face of an inlet guide blade 1 constantly, not depending on the rotation angle of the inlet guide blade 1, by making it in the circular arc form concentric to the spherical surface part 14a.
