PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a covered polyurethane foam cushion, wherein the perfect adhesion of foam and a cover and extremely good hygroscopic comfortability due to steam permeability are ensured, or all of other similar parts for a seat of a vehicle. SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a seat cushion for a vehicle is based on the use of a thermoplastic film placed in contact with a cover before th molding, injection or spraying of polyurethane. The film has intrinsic steam permeability but is sufficiently impermeable to air or a liquid and prevents the direct traversing of polyurethane at the beginning of molding to avoid the direct contact of polyurethane and the cover.
