SOLUTION: This fuel injection control device for a direct cylinder injection engine comprises, a means 21 for detecting a cylinder intake air amount information Qai, a means 22 for establishing a combustion mode M of an engine, a means 24 for establishing a target air-fuel ratio A/Fo according to the combustion mode, a means 25 for establishing a target intake air amount Qao according to the combustion mode, a means 27 for establishing the amount of fuel injection of an injector 1 so as to be the target air-fuel ratio, means 26 for establishing throttle opening so as to be the target intake air amount, and a means 23 switching the combustion mode. The injection amount controlling means 27 includes a mode switching injection amount controlling means 28 for the fuel injection amount so as to be an antiphase to changes of the cylinder intake air amount information when switching the combustion mode.
