PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the time for cooking while suppressing gas consumption. SOLUTION: An auxiliary burner 67 is burned upon the start of ignition of a grill burner 63 to rapidly attain a high-temperature state in a grill housing 60. After the lapse of a prescribed time by clocking of a timer, the combustion of the auxiliary burner 67 is stopped and the inside of the grill housing 60 is heated by the grill burner 63 alone, by which the time for cooking is shortened and the gas consumption is suppressed.
