PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To certainly prevent a situation where the amount of fuel is not adjusted by an injector, in the case of an operating state wherein fuel is not injected or when an internal combustion engine has to be cut off. SOLUTION: These method and device are used for controlling at least one load such as a magnetic valve for controlling fuel injection to an internal combustion engine. By using at least one switching means, an electric current passing through the load is controlled according to a controlling signal AD. When at least one safety signal exists, the load is controlled to be in a comparatively safety state.
