PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soap bubble based negative ion generator which achieves the prevention of geriatic diseases and aging in view of health and medical care or enables favorable influence on human bodies in view of preventive medicine, for example, causing a relaxing effect and a relieving of fatigue by allowing bathing of a moderate amount of negative ions. SOLUTION: The negative ion generator 1 includes a soap bubble generator 2 to generate soap bubbles from a soap solution and a negative ion generating mechanism part 7 which generates negative ions to be supplied to the soap bubble generator 2. The negative ion components generated by the negative ion generating mechanism part 7 age contained into the soap bubbles to let them fly into the air thereby allowing the bathing of the negative ions.
