PURPOSE:To doubly shelter noises produced from a compressor by means of a side face panel and a front face panel and decrease noises, which leak in front of an outdoor unit, by constructing a machine chamber such that the side face panel on a side of the machine chamber extends inside the front face panel to a location of a partition. CONSTITUTION:A side face panel 20 on a side of a machine chamber 3 is extended inside a front face panel 21 to a location of a partition 2, and a left end of the side face panel 20 is fastened to a front end of the partition 2 by a screw 22. The machine chamber 3 is surrounded by a rear face panel 1a of sheet metal, the side face panel 20, the partition 2, a roof plate 1f and a bottom surface 1d. A compressor 5 is doubly sheltered at its front by the side face panel 20 and the front face panel 21. As the compressor 5 is doubly sheltered at its front by the side face panel 20 and the front face panel 21, it is possible to decrease noises in front of an outdoor unit, which noises are in particular problematic. |
