PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric shaver normally having a cleaning body for cleaning, which is capable of moving the body up/down in association with mounting/demounting of an outer edge holder and of bringing the body into contact with an inner edge from the outside only at the time of cleaning the inner edge. SOLUTION: A pair of slide pieces 34 capable of slide up/down is provided on a side wall 29 of an inner edge frame 22 supporting an inner edge 30, and thereby a cleaning body is pivotably supported. The slide piece 34 is forcibly pushed up by a spring 62 through a push-up piece 63. When an outer edge holder 23 is mounted on a shaver head 5, the piece 63 is pushed down against the spring 62 by the outer edge holder 23. Then the holder 23 is removed from the head 5, the cleaning body 33 is brought into contact with the inner edge 30 from the outside, and then cleaning of the inner edge can be performed.
