PURPOSE: A method and system for displaying a searching result using a designated image is provided to display a search result in accordance with a taste of an advertiser as various forms by displaying an image and a text registered by the advertiser on a screen in accordance with the search result. CONSTITUTION: At least one data selected by an advertiser out of image data, text data, animation data, moving picture data and voice data are provided(S10) and stored in a database(S12). A search language is received from a user being connected to a search server on condition that a database is constructed and web site information related to the inputted search language is searched in a database(S14). Graphic related data and text data as web site information, image data, animation data and moving picture data extracted from the database in accordance with a search result are transmitted to a user through the Internet(S16). If a mouse pointer is located on a predetermined web site information out of search results, a background music or a publicizing voice signal is outputted and transmitted to the user(S18).
