METHOD OF HANDOFF FOR MOBILITY OF TERMINAL

PURPOSE: A method of hand off for the mobility of terminal is provided to support the hand off of the mobile terminal without setting a new H.323 call by firstly closing the logic channel and opening it to a new address. CONSTITUTION: In a hand-off system for providing a hand off to a mobile terminal which is moving while making a call conversation with the other party in a zone where a gate keeper is to a certain zone where other gate keeper is, the mobile terminal firstly gets a permission of a call from the certain gate keeper. The mobile terminal requests a terminal of the other party to close a logic channel. The mobile terminal requests a new mode to the terminal of the other party. The terminal of the other party permits the mobile terminal to close the logic channel. The terminal of the other party permits a new mode to the mobile terminal. The terminal of the other party notifies the closing of the logic channel to the mobile terminal. The terminal of the other party requests the mobile terminal to open a new logic channel. The mobile terminal permits the terminal of the other party to open a new logic channel.
