PURPOSE: An automatic bed is provided to make a user feel comfort in the state that the user lies on a bed by automatically shake up and down the user lying on the bed to make the user sleep well. CONSTITUTION: An automatic bed includes an electric motor(3), a central shaft(1), a propelling shaft(2). The bed is operated by the electric motor in such a manner that a user lying on the bed is moved up and down. For that, the propelling shaft is moved up and down on the central shaft. When the user's upper body is raised, the user's arms and legs are lowered. The bed is automatically moved up and down by the electric motor. The time and speed of the motion of the bed is controllable.
