PURPOSE: A location information providing system using a radio device module is provide by which a user transmits location data received through his GPS receiver to another person when the user wants, to easily inform the person of the user's position. CONSTITUTION: A location information providing system includes a data transmitter(6) and a data receiver(10,16). The data transmitter has a GPS module(4) receiving location data from an artificial satellite(2) to transmit the location data. The data receiver receives the location data from the data transmitter. Each of the data transmitter and receiver includes a radio device module(12,16) capable of transmitting and receiving data through a relay station(13) of a radio communication proprietor. The GPS module is connected to the radio device module to transmit the location data to the data receiver through the radio device module. |
