PURPOSE: To surely perform the retrieval and guidance by telephone number input, by inputting and collating with each other a telephone number and the other information specifying a subscriber of the telephone number. CONSTITUTION: This point retrieval and an output device comprises a storage means 3 storing at least a telephone number, specified information specifying a subscriber, and information on the point of the subscriber, an inputting means 1 inputting the specifying information to specify the telephone number and subscriber, a retrieving means 4 retrieving the information on the point of the subscriber according to the telephone number or specifying information specifying the subscriber input from the input means 1, and output control means 4 and 5 for controlling the output of the information on the point of the subscriber retrieved by the retrieving means according the input of the telephone number and the input of the specifying information specifying the subscriber. The telephone number is input to retrieve the information on the point of the subscriber of the telephone number, and the output of personal information is controlled in the condition that the name of the subscriber is input, when the subscriber is individual, depending on whether the name of the subscriber is an individual or owner of a facility, company, or store.
