<p>A method and apparatus for determining item pricing in an on-line purchasing system. Pricing schedules (22) for various end users and pricing schedules (22) for various purchasers are stored on a computer system (16) based on prenegotiated prices. Each item in an order is compared to items in the pricing schedules (22) for end users and, if a match is found, the computer system (16) requests end user identification data. If the end user identification data corresponds to an end user having a pricing schedule (22), the pricing schedule (22) for the end user is used to determine a price for the item.</p> |
