Drain valve for liquid container

The valve for emptying a tank of cryogenic liquid comprises two coaxial tubes (12, 13). The inner tube is attached to the valve body (11) and the outer contains the valve seat (24) which has a bore (19) through which the liquid can flow. The inner tube acts as the discharge outlet and the valve is opened by a mechanism (32, 34) arranged outside the outer tube and coaxially with it.
