METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING CLAD STEEL STRIP USING STRIP CASTER

PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a clad steel strip is provided in which casting conditions are more easily set, and a uniformed clad steel strip is more effectively and economically manufactured by applying a strip casting method using a twin roll type strip caster to the clad steel strip manufacturing. CONSTITUTION: The method for manufacturing a clad steel strip using a strip caster comprises the process of casting the clad steel strip after supplying a strip to be an internal sheet (101) of a clad steel strip (100) between rolls for the strip casting using a twin roll type strip caster comprising rolls for strip casting each of which are oppositely installed, and supplying molten steel (30) to be an external sheet (102) of clad steel between the rolls for strip casting, wherein a thickness of the casted clad steel strip (100) is controlled by rolling the casted clad steel strip using a roll for reduction additionally installed at the lower part of the strip casting roll.
