PURPOSE: A voltage drop converter is provided to compensate for the internal voltage rapidly when the internal voltage decreases below a predetermined level in order to reduce the response time. CONSTITUTION: The voltage drop converter includes the first reference voltage generator(110), the second reference voltage generator(120), an internal source voltage driver(130) and an internal source compensator(140). The first reference voltage generator receives an outer source voltage and supplies constant first reference voltage. The second reference voltage generator receives the first reference voltage from the first reference voltage generator and generates the second reference voltage. The internal source voltage driver amplifies the output voltage of the second reference voltage generator and generates an internal source voltage corresponding to a load. The internal source compensator detects the level of the internal voltage driver and generates a compensation signal corresponding to the variation of the internal source voltage according to a signal whose level is adjusted by the first reference voltage from the first reference voltage generator when the detected voltage variation is bigger than a predetermined value.
