PURPOSE: A technique for measuring spraying by using two light polarization is provided to measure a polarization ratio of scattering light beams from a liquid drop by using two color CCD cameras and two light beams of different colors having polarization perpendicular to each other, thereby measuring a size of the whole spraying in a short time at a low cost. CONSTITUTION: In a technique for measuring spraying by using two light polarization, a size of particles is measured with color CCD cameras(12,14) by using polarized dual light beams which have difference wave length from each other and are polarized perpendicularly to each other by passing through via a cylindrical lens(13) controlling a thickness and a mirror reflection plate(10) from a single sheet beam(9) generated by a cylindrical beam expander(8).
