<p>PURPOSE: A heat pump type air conditioner is provided, in which condenser and evaporator are arranged between the outdoor heat exchanger and heat source, to thereby maintain superior heating capacity through the promotion of evaporation of refrigerant when the outdoor air temperature is low. CONSTITUTION: A heat pump type air conditioner comprises a refrigerant circuit in which a compressor(1), a four-way valve(2), an indoor heat exchanger(3), a pressure reduction unit(4) for use of cooling operation, a pressure reduction unit(5) for use of heating operation, an outdoor heat exchanger(6) are connected in sequence through a first pipe(7), and the four-way valve and the compressor are connected through a return pipe(8). The refrigerant circulates in the direction marked as a solid arrow during heating operation. A second pipe(9) is connected between the inlet side of the four-way valve and the outlet side of the outdoor heat exchanger connected to the first pipe. The refrigerant circulates in the direction marked as a dotted arrow during cooling operation. A condenser(13) and an evaporator(14) of a heat pipe(11) are arranged to the outdoor air suction side of the outdoor heat exchanger and a solar heat collector(10), respectively.</p> |
