PURPOSE: A "B" pillar upper end structure is provided to provide a structure to disperse stress given to a "B" pillar to a roof bow and a roof panel and to improve welding performance of the "B" pillar to the roof panel. CONSTITUTION: A roof panel(32) and a roof bow(34) are formed so that the ends thereof are even with each other and with the upper part of the end of a side outer panel(40). A "B" pillar reinforcement(36) and a "B" inner pillar(38) are mounted right below the joined ends of the roof panel and the roof bow under the side outer panel so that the stress(F) transmitted from the outside is dispersed to the roof panel and the roof bow.
