PURPOSE: A method for fabricating a ferroelectric liquid crystal display is provided to improve the contrast of the ferroelectric liquid crystal display by stabilizing an initial orientation state of a ferroelectric liquid crystal molecule. CONSTITUTION: N liquid crystal molecules(111) are arranged with an ideal orientation order. The liquid crystal molecule has an interaction with an adjacent liquid crystal molecule together with a thermal movement. A few liquid crystal molecules among the N liquid crystal molecules has a disorder by the interaction between molecules. Therefore, an angle between two adjacent oblique lines(113,115) among a number of oblique lines connecting a number of liquid crystal molecule axes having an equal axis arranged in a multi layer with one orientation is a theta angle. If annealing the liquid crystal in a low temperature, the thermal movement is reduced and therefore the liquid crystal molecules are arranged orderly. That is, the number of oriented liquid crystal molecules is increased.
