PURPOSE: A clamping power transmitting device of a disc driver is provided to minimize the driving force for supplying the force of a driving motor for clamping, thereby simplifying the design of related mechanism and precisely carrying out the operation for the clamping force transmission. CONSTITUTION: A clamping power transmitting device of a disc driver includes a driving power source, a driving plate alternatively connected to the driving power source to be driven by the power, a cam plate(90) connected to the driving plate for transmitting power for clamping, an initial driving element for providing an initial driving force to the driving plate to supply the power of the driving power source to the driving plate, and an association lever(99) for operating the driving plate and the cam plate in association, wherein the driving plate is formed with a power transmission preventing part for preventing the transmission of the driving force of the initial driving element to the cam plate.
