摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an instrument and a method for measuring the temperature of flush-melting furnace. SOLUTION: A lance tube 20 having a thermocouple T put in its tip part is inserted from an inspection hole 3a bored in the side wall 3c of a reaction shaft 3 and while the insertion depth is varied at specific intervals, the temperature of concentrate falling in the reaction shaft 3 is measured at plural positions to measure the temperature distribution in the reaction shaft 3. This temperature measuring instrument 10 for its furnace is equipped with a moving mechanism 30 which supports and moves the rear part side of the lance tube 20 to its furnace side 1 and guides the thermocouple T to a specific position in the reaction shaft 3 and an intermediate support mechanism 40 which is positioned between the tip part of the lance tube 20 and the moving mechanism 30 and supports the lance tube 20 and the intermediate support mechanism 40 is constituted so as to follow the moving mechanism 30 a half as fast as the velocity of moving the moving mechanism 30.
