PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly remove the dust, synthetic resin powder, etc., sticking to the outer peripheral surfaces of cylindrical articles, such as can bodies, without using a washing liquid with a simple device and to allow the easy application of the device to a high-speed manufacturing line of the can bodies affixed with film labels. SOLUTION: The endless tacky adhesive belt 15 is arranged along a transporting turret 10 which holds the cylindrical articles into pockets and freely rotatably transports the same so as to rotationally come into contact with the can bodies under transportation. The cylindrical articles under the transportation rotationally come into contact with the tacky adhesive belt, by which the dust, etc., sticking to the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical articles are adhered and removed. The tacky adhesive belt is reproduced by a belt washing means and drying means and is repetitively usable.
