PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the unnecessary processing of printing data due to an erroneous operation by confirming the continuation of the processing to a performer of printing for a printing request of the same printing data from the same performer of the printing by storing the printing data to be spooled in a printing history list. SOLUTION: The printing request received via a communication network 110, etc., is discriminated by a discrimination processing part 106 and stored in the printing history list 107. Whether or not the printing request of the same printing data from the same performer of the printing exists in the printing history list 107 is retrieved when the printing request is received. When it exists, the propriety of prosecution of the printing processing is confirmed to the performer 111 of the printing. Thus, the unnecessary printing processing due to an erroneous operation is reduced since the continuation of printing processing is confirmed to the performer of the printing when the printing request of the same printing data is received from the same performer of the printing by holding the printing data which is once printed as printing history.
