PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photograph drying device which allows hightemperature drying of photographic paper and can suppress the degree of curving of the photographic paper in discharging. SOLUTION: This device is made of a structure having a transporting means 3 for transporting the photographic paper 1d subjected to development processing, a heating means 5 for heating the photographic paper 1d under transportation, a cooling means 4 for cooling the heated photographic paper 1d under transportation and a discharging means 6 for discharging the cooled photographic paper. The photographic paper 1d dried after the heating is actively cooled and its temperature is lowered down near to ordinary temperature.
