PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely inspect disconnection of outermost electrodes in spite of full lighting visual operating inspection. SOLUTION: In a liquid crystal display device of full-dot display, and at least in two locations A, B in the opposite angle relation of a display part, at the positions on non-display parts of the outermost electrodes SEG(1), SEG(n) arranged at both ends in the display part of one transparent electrode substrate, dummy electrodes 11S, 12S are arranged for forming display dots D1, D2 for inspecting disconnection in the positions corresponding to a part of the outermost electrodes COM(1), COM(m) arranged at both ends in the display part of the other transparent electrode substrate.
