PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for preventing a data loss due to the unavailability of an external network. SOLUTION: This system is provided with an electronic mail server connected to a local area network and a network access unit connected to the local area network according to one example and makes the network access unit connect the local area network with an external network. The system is also provided with a digital sender connected to the local area network and provides the digital sender with a processor electrically connected to a local interface and a memory electrically connected to the local interface. A network verifying logic for deciding the operation state of the external network from the electronic mail server is stored in the memory and also conducted by the processor.
