PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a backup set in an old type version to be prepared as a result of backup operation especially regarding a method, a system a program and data structure to execute the backup operation of a target file. SOLUTION: In this method, system, program and data structure, a delta backup set including changes from a version of the initial full backup set of the target file is obtained by executing delta backup of the target file, a name component to indicate the version of the full backup set is allocated to the delta backup set, the second full back up set is executed to the target file and operation to inactivate the delta backup set with the name component to indicate the version before the full backup is executed. |
