PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor position detection circuit where the number of lines for connecting a motor to a controller is reduced by setting a signal line for sending the position signal of a rotor to the controller from the motor and a power supply line to a common line. SOLUTION: Voltage at a positive electrode side is supplied to three- and single-phase position detection means 2 and 3 in a brushless DC motor 1 from a power supply circuit 9 in a controller 4 via a pull-up resistor 8 and a power supply line 10. At this time, a voltage obtained by dividing the voltage of a single-phase position signal (c) that is outputted from the single-phase position detection means 3 and the voltage at the positive electrode side that is supplied from the power supply circuit 9 using the pull-up resistors 8 and 13 is supplied to the power supply line 10 by a single-phase detection means 6 as a single-phase position signal (d). |
